How are your religion and culture intertwined? Every culture imparts its own flavour to certain aspects of the religion - but in no way should there ever be any confusion between culture and religion. The principles of the religion should never be subordinated to culture. However, cultural coloring of certain aspects is fine. For example, if modesty in dress is a principle, then a particular culture is free to use its traditional dress so long as the principle is not violated. The culture just adds a particular flavour to the principle.
